Oddblogger is tripping.

assalamualaikum people!

yesterday my family and i went for a trip to Malacca.

actually father wanted to go back to Pontian but then he said never mind, let's go to Malacca. either which, the option were Pontian, Batu Pahat *lolz* or Malacca. so you see the obvious choice right?

seeing adik being so excited with the prospect of the trip, i force myself to sleep early and be strong so that we can go. besides, i've been stuck INSIDE the house for two weeks. solid two weeks. so at around 8 o'clock off we went with father driving the car like, very slow i became sleepy too soon.so i sleep in the car hahaha. then we stopped at this Pasar Karat in Kesang (there's Pasar Karat everywhere lulz) and we went around watching all the tins and kinks and then! i spot this gold!

Roots by Alex Haley

i was like, so excited because i've been searching for this book for, like, two years and now i found it and soon i got it off the seller for RM 10. if only the seller knew the true value of this great literary piece, he won't sell it for RM10. rezeki weh! so being a maniac bookworm, i read a little as soon as the car hit the road but my right arm was starting to get painful again so i sleep before anything happen hahaha.

upon reaching Banda Hilir, i was expecting a whole day-long of adventure going tot he museums and historical sites (like i've done so many times before hahahah) but God said it was not meant to be because all the museums and a large part of Dataran Pahlawan were closed to make way for renovation. would you believe that i won't be able to explore Stadhuys again until 2014 because of the renovation??? torture!

down and depleted, i was. but then we went to this one art museum situated next to the great Christ Church where i had a pretty decent time watching paintings. i'm a fan of history, not art so forgive me for unable to understand some of the Picasso-like paintings displayed. it would have been better if Along was there because then it would be enjoyable because he will be the one talking about them to us the little sisters hehehe. but there were some amazing paintings on display nevertheless.

hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil.
 for better protest!
 mom going colour block hehehe
 father focusing.

i love this painting so much!
the one bigger than me. XD

the painting above and below is very interesting! if you look closely,
the words are made up of human figure in various pose.
 sadly, no Johor. :(
 older day Malacca.
i don't know what this is.
she's always striking funny pose. hehehe

it wasn't a very long trip actually but i had fun because i rarely had the chance to go on trips with my family nowadays now that all of us turn into grown up and adik is busy with her school and i rarely go back home and let's face it, there's too many obstacle. so i tell myself that i must ignore my condition today and just go out with them. just get down and immersed in the activities. so we took pictures, had pictures taken for us in that nice wooden frame from the brother who ran here and there, had ice cream, i bought perfumes for mom from these UIA students selling them. well, i just don't wanna listen to them talking for so long so take my money and go go go lahh. but the perfume is nice and mo m like it.

i'm always up for trips no matter how long or how far but perhaps the timing is not really suitable so i sleep all the way back to Muar out of fatigue. haihh faster recover Oddblogger! but now that my favorite places in Malacca are closed for renovations, then where am i going for my trip next time? hmmmm. ahh i should just go to KL and meet Along and get him to take me to all the nice eateries and we can eat until we get buncit tummy hehehe.

next time i must go to Jonker Walk!

Salam.

To the final we go!

Assalamualaikum people.

So Johor will meet Kelantan in the final of FA cup a month from now. I wish I can go to the stadium and see what could be one of the greatest, epic fights of all in Malaysian modern football. Exaggerating as always, this is Oddblogger hehehe.
Congrats Red Warrior, congrats JDT.

However, I am slightly disappointed with both team performances because they did not play whole-heartedly in the first half of their respective final-leg match. JDT and Kelantan have the same style of playing; playing around in the first half and attacking like Kraken in the second half. How could they make us audience agitate in our seats! Terengganu did a brilliant job scoring 3 goals against Kelantan but always the miracle-turner, Red Warrior scored the crucial goal to win a place in the final. As for JDT and Pahang, let’s not look at the cancelled match previously but I think Pahang show a wonderful spirit and attitude during the match. I mean, a goal as soon as the match started? Pahang fought like a Trojan, I tell you! I even have a slight inclination of switching support to Pahang because I don’t really support JDT in the first place. Yeah, a blood traitor I am. *sigh* but then again, watching a person keep on condemning JDT in Twitter makes me feel flare up. So I support JDT and thank God JDT win even though the away goal rules seems a bit ridiculous to me. *sigh*  I still fancy Pahang because they play brilliantly!

To me, it’s okay if you wanted to support whichever team that you prefer but please don’t be a straight out moron lahhh. You are educated enough to avoid any tension with your friends right. There’s no need to say mean things about the opponent because when it involves sports like football, everyone will become highly defensive about their respective state. What more if you have the image of good boy/girl who always update all the nicest things in your Twitter/Facebook, then suddenly when it comes to a football game, all your bad words come out. People will think that you’re a fake lahh. Don’t be like that lahh my friend I know you don’t like Johor because we eat spicy food here but we’re still Malaysian right? We’re future teachers some more so please mind your words lahhh. When I see all the status, I was like ‘you better beware you talk so much about Johor later you come back here imma smack you straight on the face!’ but then again I think he probably just upset because his team didn’t make the cut to the final so have pity on him lahh.

Now that JDT will face Red Warrior in the final, I am thorn between the two teams. Which one should I support? Red Warrior prove their legend-warrior-dary household name by making it into the final with a miraculous last minute goal (like a true legend!) but JDT give a surprising result as the newbie because hey, its final hey hey! So I’ll support both team and cheer for all the goals they net in no matter from which team. It doesn’t matter to me which team win because I support both team. I think the final will be epic because we shall see all the powerful player on the turf jyeahh!

Pahang’s number 9 and 12 are a must watch for their opponents in the future. Both of them are like pelesit so fast dribble the ball and get it in control! I was watching with hyper excitement waving hands like goal keeper watching them play hahahahah!

Since my holiday is filled with treatment and a lot of restricted movement due to my condition, all I do is watch football and rugby and How I Meet Your Mother and artistic gymnastic and football and rugby and rugby and eat and pray and sleep and Twittering and all those nonsense. Father won’t allow me to even step out of the house. I’m like, flat on my back due to hyper restlessness and boredom. Once I’m back in Iptho, don’t anybody ever dare stopping me from doing what I want. Imma jog and run and dance and walk and do what ridiculous activities that I want until I’m satisfied.

Just now I watched Lara Croft Tomb Raider on HBO and I am crazily smitten with Croft’s ice cold attitude. She’s like, hyper cool, expressionless, passionate, deadly aggressive and is simply the epitome of a vain lady! And she kick ass like a boss too yohoho! Ahh I’ve always admire Angelina Jolie acting skill. She always go for all the slick, cold, vain, macho woman roles. The same goes to Sigourney Weaver and Milla Jovovic. Ahhh I freaking love these actress because they are so macho on screen! Yes, macho is the new beautiful, ladies.  They show the beauty of being a powerful woman with ease. It’s like, you ain’t cool if you don’t kick ass. How’s that girls? *grin*

This is Narcissus Oddblogger, vain and strong.

Signing off with a *bang*
