Narcissus Oddblogger : Blasting 19!

so i've turned 19 last 24th of March *yay* and i've had the most amazing birthday ever! =D
and for my teenage-turns-adult 19th birthday, i decided to treat myself with a pair of killer wedges shoes!

                                                      my wedgie-wedgie-wedges shoes~

since my black wedges has been showing signs of old age, i really need a new wedges. and i decide to depart from my safe colour of black and choose brown instead. but it's really high like owhmygawd! (>,<'')\

a day prior to the date, Kak Maz brought me on a girls evening out where we went shopping at the land of shawls and skirts and shirts, Carrefour, and she bought me this gorgeous Pashmina shawl as a birthday gift! what a nice surprise! (^_^)v

my pashi-pashi-pashminaaa~

i just loved the magnificent combination of the colours that's why i grabbed it! haha
and since i have a new bright pink shirt now, i can match them together with my black skirts with pink flowers as the killer piece of a whole new pink dress-up menu. what joy eh?

Qayyim gave me this vintage like shirt and i know i can trust her fashion sense without doubt. although i am NOT that brave to wear vintage, but then i'll just take it all one step at a time. love you, Baby Q ! ^^

and as the beloved niece forever, my uncle bought me a set of skin care products from Shinz and Versace perfume set. and they are sooooo pink! the clutz part is that my uncle forgot to throw away the resit and that little piece of paper left me gawping for half an hour. uncle, u rawks helluvaaa weee~!

                                                                 le sweet scent~
of course, being the disciple of the artful perfume lover, i went chirping all over the house and my awesome mother just shake her head when i'm going ballerina-like chatterbox talking non-stop! i mean, its perfume and skin care product yaw! =D

so, i was totally celebrated like a princess (i feel like one at the moment) and was showered with all these jaw-breaking gifts as if i'm back in my toddler age! who could ever guess that celebrating birthday after so long, especially since you are all grown up and burdened with works, could be so joyful? hee

but the best present of all is the one i sleep with every night now. we share the same bed and pillow, and cuddle each other like romantic lovers (much exaggeration there!) and i just love how pink my huggy baby is!

                                                            meet Baby Angel Toochie <3

and i must say, this is the sweetest gift of all! i really have no idea of Angel coming into my life whatsoever! i thought he's going to treat me pizza and done with it only (i'm always up for foooood~ LOL) but that moment when the clock strike twelve and he gave me Angel, i felt like crying out loud! Angel is not too big and not too small, which means she's extremely comfortable to be hugged when i'm sleeping. hee
i love my new baby, and its not wrong to say that i'm inseparable with Baby Angel Toochie.
why Toochie (pronounce Too-shey)? because its cute when i say her name like 'tooci-toociii~' *pfftt*

all in all, i really don't expect any gift except food (like duhhh) so i kinda glitter like fairy dust these past days. heee~  a big thank you for all the gift! *cry boo hoo hoo*

ohwhatjoy : i'm turning into a pink girl now. i have a bright pink shirt, pink bedroom slipper, pink huggy Baby Angel doll, pink flowers adoring my black skirt, pink water bottle, lots of pink shawls, pink perfume, pink blanket, and pink shower gell. pink is the colour for 2012. blotz.

#everyone around me is on the phone all cheers and smiles. hmph.

Atok comel! =D

Last week my granny sayang was admitted to the hospital for internal bleeding around her duodenum. yea, is sounds sucks and it sucks! poor my granny sayang, so cute also must suffer like this. wuuuu.....
so, me as the beloved, most affectionate (and spoiled) little granchild rush back home and keep granny all happy happy wee~

so, i stayed by her side in the ward on the morning shift. its was unfair though,or so it seems to me, because i can't stay with her from morning till night. if its up to me, i won't leave her all the time she stayed in the hospital! (cucu gila kuasa!)
but my granny sayang is really the cutest granny in the whole wide world! when i arrived at the hospital, i will straightaway massage her legs and back and hands and head and she would be very comfortable with my massaging skill until she doze off like a little baby. and i will sit quietly by her side listening to Linkin Park and Avenged Sevenfold banging my brain off with their awesome music! =D

afterwards when my garnny woke up, she would starts her dramatic story telling session about the hospital, the staff, the makcik nurses, the numerous doctors, the all-gonna-die patients, and of course, the stupid pills shove down her throat everyday. and what made them sweet is that she will only do this story telling session with me or my mom. with the other aunts, all she did was sleep, sleep, sleep, and eat. XD

i tell you, no wonder doctors prefer their wife to be the housewife-Queen of the House- because their job is, like, uber hectic yaw yaw! the doctor that treat my granny, Dr Shadwa, was so...er...tired-looking. but one thing i like about that doctor is that he seems ignorant of the many beautiful nurses around him. i saw him doing three things all the time : walking here and there while reading reports, talking on his phone with all those medical terms and doctor's language blabs, and checking on patients. nice doctor, eh? but really, he was so focus on the patient when examining them.

when he check my granny, i was there and i could say that he pretty much was amused by my granny's lack of hearing ability. when he asked whether my granny feels any pain around her stomach, with his low voice (of course my granny didn't hear him out!) he was dumbfounded when  granny said she ate lunch already and she hope to go home soon. big, fat LOL ! XD
so i was the intermediator for him. like pfftt. he asked one question and i asked the question again at granny with my loud voice and look with amusement when granny answer my questions but not the doctor. duhh, doctors should have loud voice lah, Mr Shadwa~
afterwards, he asked me a few questions about granny because obviously he knew that if he ask granny, he won't get anywhere. glad to help doctor~

i'm so sad to leave granny but i can't miss my dating(s) with the glamorous mock exam, right?
just glad that at least i did took care of my granny.
cayang atok comel muah muahh! =D

Total bookworm.

i just love reading! love it love it love it! =D
although i read every genre, but i do have a bit inclination to choose a particular genre especially if the book comes in the hard cover version. ooohhhh! i love hard cover books! it makes the whole reading process appears so darn grand! =D

i rarely reject what's been given to me because i regard each book as the most delicious rookapalooza meal for my forever hungry brain. hee~ imagine spending the whole afternoon in your bed reading one epic story that makes you feel the adventure within. irresistible, isn't it? X)

despite my lack of interest in science and its logically enhance world, i do read up some science fiction but sorry to say, i never finish any of them. ==''
throw a couple of fantasy or history lines instead, i'll immerse deeply in those wonderful world where reality seems to be so vague and dull. =D

i found great wisdom in the lines of politically inspired book especially if it comes from the hands of those big boss like Tun Dr Mahathir, Lee Kuan Yew, Kua Kia Song and those individuals deem a bit eccentric in the eyes of typical people. as a truly history lover, i try to dig up every inch of the supposedly bored subject through the various books which grace the glossy shelves of those attractive bookstores.

what do i get from reading? like, a whole lot of stuff!
from books, i learn the adventurous world of Harry Potter, Narnia, that later on pile up my writing skills and adjective by the dozens. i fall in love with the gallant knights and chivalrous warriors from Tristan and Iseult, from Lancelot and Guinever,  the ambiguous Greek demigods and its cahoots, the beautiful queen of the Egypt in the form of Cleopatra and Zenobia, and so much more!

all these readings would later on supply me with ideas in my writings. i find absolute satisfaction in digging up legends and tales of the past as it is indeed intriguing how such stories could live to be one epic tradition of its people. the Irish have their Tristan and Iseult, the Britons charm on with their Arthurian Legends where Sir Lancelot of the Lake is the truly perfect example of 'Knight in shining armor', triumphing over King Arthur himself over Lady Guinevere's affection, all the while displaying his chivalry in search of the Holy Grail of Christendom. okay, much blabs here.

on the other side, i adore any kind of investigation about religion. you know, the whole sun-worshiping tradition of the Egyptian, Hanukkah of the Jews, and all those Christians saints and patrons are actually kinda interesting if you look at them positively. no racist judgement whatsoever, please. it is quite challenging comparing them with Islam and they really makes us ponder on how the hell they live in those times. but make sure your faith don't sway if you wanna go deep down this whole religion thingy, yaw~

the point is, you must love books! =D
then you can come join me for my afternoon bookish session. hee
