for i have climb and fall beyond tears
the hill of life one glorious road
pain and pleasure filling my years
this journey of life, so to quote
for when innocent meet its other part
two eyes shall see how blind it was
cracked and stabbed, one fragile heart
born this shadow of bereft past
for love is the cure of which we called poison
the charm of life, the seducer of soul
once trapped our smile in lonely mind,a fatal prison
weak shall the heart be, as youth turns old
for pain and tears shall always be
the reason a life soon wilt and die
the lesson to bear, hear and see
that laughter shall pass, and so do cry
for life is like a fragile butterfly
soft and demure, sensitive creature
why spend your life to poke and pry
come join the race towards colourful future

The Thin Line In Between.
breakups are the most painful experiences that one could endure no matter how old he/she is. the unstable emotions and breakdown of self-esteem could tear apart our strength if left unattended by the comforts of family and close friends. therefore, we could say that breakups is indeed, a most fearful moment in our life especially for teenagers.
why does it hurts so much? simply because most breakups happens to those who are still alive. if the reason for the separation is death, it is simply assumed as destined to be and is easier to be accepted as death is something that we could not prevent. but for those who still alive, it is the biggest challenge to overcome.
again, why is it so? let's say if two person who's in love, work at the same place, have the similar mutual friends, have the opportunity to meet up everyday, suddenly come to the point where they have to split ways, for reasons that seems logical to their needs and obligations, and there seem to be no other way out except separation ad hock, how would it be like for the people surrounding them? isn't it hard and awkward to face each other everyday, pretending that you never share those sweet moments together, never whisper those three divine words towards each other, and the worst part is, trying to keep a cool head together hearing your ex laughing but you are not the reason she/he is laughing. breakups are pathetic.
but then, can't ex lovers be good friends afterwards?
crazy ideas, of course, to assume that after that major pitfalls, you still wanted to be good friends for each other. the mere idea of being in the presence of each other is so hard to bear until the thought of being good friends seems ridiculous at best. you may try, though, because there are successful cases where the ex turns out to be better off as a good friend than a lover. but still, its hard and chances are slim. if you really wanted to be on friendship term with your ex, the better suggestion is to give both of you some time apart so that both of you could clear your mind from the past and focus on the life ahead. if you manage to be on friendship term again, avoid mentioning the shared past between both of you. if some cases of old slip of tongue occur, make it seems like a good nature joke that makes both of you smile about those 'good old time' instead of saying them with spite.
its not impossible to suggest that by reversing to friendship term could spark some moments where you think you would do anything to get your ex back but this is just another way of torturing yourself, and your ex of course. if you wish to avoid this awkward moment, better try finding someone else to divert your interest before befriending your ex as the act of showing that you are single and available indicates that you might still refrain yourself because of your ex. try to find someone new but it doesn't mean that you have to get a partner too soon. just make it appears as if you have move on from the breakups to ensure there's no room for any special feeling that could redevelop between you and your ex.
truthfully, being good friends with your ex is not impossible but it could be hard too if you don't have a strong mental and physical strength to control yourself. the best solution actually lies in your truest intention of befriending your ex. one important thing that you must give attention to is your ex feeling about this move. he or she could misinterpret your intention as a way to be back with him/her, or it could be the road to revenge and hatred of some kind. try to understand how your ex might feel if ever both of you become friends, especially good one. clearly said, different people have different perspective.

Narcissus Oddblogger : The Origin.
A lot of people has been asking me the reasons why i decided to use the name Narcissus Oddblogger as my alter-ego. despite explaining over and over again on this, i still face the same questions and ironically, it came from those people who actually did asked me the question. lame, isn't it?
well, so here i go blogging about, for God sake, my alter-ego, Narcissus Oddblogger.
i'm sure the majority of you knew that Narcissus is the name of a flower as indicated by the one and only picture of the flower in my blog (scroll, duh) and perhaps it stops there. by the way, the other name for Narcissus flower is Daffodil and yes, i do think Narcissus Oddblogger sounds way better than Daffodil Oddblogger! but knowing me, flowers aren't to my taste much. i mean, if you want to established a name which would obviously be implemented in a person's mind due to its uniquely attractive and mysterious sounds, i bet you wouldn't want to apply some ordinary names, right? and since i consider myself quite capable of producing weird names, i proceed to use my knowledge first and foremost for myself.
an alter-ego should be something different from yourself. it should be insanely hyperbole in order to secure a long lasting impression in people's mind. frankly speaking, i discover this name from my past-time favourite, the Greek mythology, in which i literally studied every single subject on the Greek's gods and goddesses and heroes and mortals and everything! i was deeply absorbed in all these myth and was particularly interested in the character of Narcissus and his stories.
why Narcissus? he is, after all, a man in the myth and i am a woman! ahhaa! this is where the story twist into a whole new perspective. if you did clicked on the link of his name, i believe the idea of Narcissus's traits has already emerged in your mind and it will be a triumph to note that Narcissus is a narcissistic man especially when it comes to,like, everything! his narcissistic nature is the trigger that makes him famous until he have a whole trait of psychological attitude derived from his name! the most popular example of his out-of-this-world nature is revealed in the story of Echo & Narcissus.
what the hell this whole blabs got to do with Narcissus Oddblogger, you wonder? well, simply put, i used to be like that too in the past. i was a narcissistic person back in high school due to my inability in adapting to the surrounding situation. it was five years of regret for me as i caged myself in my own narcissism and never did i forget all the details of my bitter past. others, my former schoolmates, will undeniably tell you of the innocent-girl-who-trust-too-much story when it comes too me. i did trust blindly but deep beneath me, i wasn't what they think i am. i was vain and arrogant at times. i get frustrated with myself like, a whole lot, and it affect my soul. i have no wish to be like that anymore, so i choose this name as a constant reminder of my past and that this name shall be the one defensive line who's responsible in refraining me from driving into that old, black road of my history.
and the Oddblogger part? well, i am not interested to be normal. i always motivate myself to be distinctive and eccentric from others. i look at the perspective of life differently, i evaluate my thoughts critically, all these actions are the only way i can maintain the survival of my own life. yeah, its Darwinian theory out there and the big, bad, wolf won't stop hurting you now and then. thus, it is my sole responsibility in producing my own image and preparing my mental to face the coming and goings of the world. weird does not stop at actions or speech, it comes from the way you think too.
as a blogger, i feel the responsibility to at least deliver something useful to the readers rather than share my daily activities which could be similar to thousands of human in this world. and no, Weirdblogger is way to cliche for me. some people don't even know how to pronounce the word correctly and i really dislike it when people mispronounce my name. seriously. so there you go, Oddblogger is the easiest name and it does suits perfectly with Narcissus, right?
so this is me,
Narcissus Oddblogger.
peace yaw~ ^^
