Petal Musing

A fallen petal, a wilting flower
Sway like a full-throttle melancholy
Through the paradise of red-blue fire
Limp, limp with faded memory

Through woeful shadows and clouded thought
A petal burns in the midst of long forgotten kisses
Deathly scent among the lilies wrought
Ascend the whispers of broken late promises

Lost petals all mourning behind their veils
Purest white, bravest red all weeping in agony
A slip of touch and all darkness prevails
born yet another endless musing, a treacherous symphony

Crushed petals scattering, torn and broken
Rip from the root of life, silent  laughter
Dusty ashes falling, a life mercilessly taken
Fall petal, fall, fall and stay among the dying flower
